A little while back we filmed a Behind The Scenes Video for two piece Indie – Pop band ‘The Parliament Owls’. Based in Essex/London ‘The Parliament Owls’ have their first gig tomorrow night at ‘The Railway Hotel’ in Southend – on – Sea. We have the feeling this will be the first of many!
Here’s our Behind the Scenes Video of them performing their song ‘Kon-tiki’. Make sure to watch in HD!
Earlier this year, we made a Promotional Video of the Village Green Festival for Metal, which can be watched here. Headlining the festival were Nothing But Thieves, arguably one of the best bands in the world right now! We took great advantage of the fact this incredible band were performing in their hometown, and put together a montage video of their performance. Here it is, the song used is called ‘Ban All The Music’.
Southend – on – Sea punk band the 7786 performed at the Railway Pub for their latest music video. Around the Edge Productions, in association with Project 49 filmed the music video and wanted behind the scenes footage of what this production crew get up to. Project 49 are an award winning community based resource providing innovative services for adults with learning disabilities in the Southend on Sea area.
This was great fun to film and all for a good cause, being able to showcase what these individuals with learning disabilities at Project 49 can achieve is truly humbling.
Around the Edge Productions provide training in video and multimedia, and this is just one of the many activities on offer at Project 49. Service Users are also involved in other exciting projects and partnerships, to name a few; the Just Ride accessible cycling project at Southend Leisure and Tennis Centre. The Street Art on Sea project where service users show off their creative art work, and the Community gardening projects including partnerships with Epic Quest Education.
Recognition of the innovative work Project 49 establish hasn’t gone unnoticed, with the organisation being nominated and winning awards from the likes of Britain in Bloom and Mencap and Southend Borough Council.
