Over the last few months we have been working on making ‘STOP.SEEK.SPEAK’ a true story where our close friend Jack reveals all on what it is like living with depression and anxiety.
Its been a complete emotional rollercoaster filming and editing this one, with Jack being completely honest and open on his mental health.
We made this film together because 1. Jack had a lot he wanted to get off his chest and talk about, and 2. because we wanted to give inspiration to those that suffer in silence to find the courage within to speak up. We said to each other even if we can help one person feel more confident in opening up about their mental health then we have made a positive difference.
We feel there is still a lot of work to be done to shift the stigma for those with a mental health illness. We want to raise awareness and encourage others to speak up and not be afraid to do so.
Please watch in HD and show this to a friend that maybe struggling with a mental health illness.
A little while back we filmed a Behind The Scenes Video for two piece Indie – Pop band ‘The Parliament Owls’. Based in Essex/London ‘The Parliament Owls’ have their first gig tomorrow night at ‘The Railway Hotel’ in Southend – on – Sea. We have the feeling this will be the first of many!
Here’s our Behind the Scenes Video of them performing their song ‘Kon-tiki’. Make sure to watch in HD!
Earlier this year, we made a Promotional Video of the Village Green Festival for Metal, which can be watched here. Headlining the festival were Nothing But Thieves, arguably one of the best bands in the world right now! We took great advantage of the fact this incredible band were performing in their hometown, and put together a montage video of their performance. Here it is, the song used is called ‘Ban All The Music’.
We had a great day filming Robby and Sammi Ellis’ wedding at Newhall Vineyards in Essex, on what could only be described as a day of typical British weather. We had cloudy skies and rain but the lack of sunshine certainly failed to dampen anyone’s mood!
Myself and second videographer, Ben, left ours at 7.30am and made the journey to Purleigh, to start filming some exterior shots of the Barn, and some detailed shots inside the venue. It was here we met the photographer Anna, who proved to work with us fantastically, staying out of each others way so we could all get the shots we wanted. After roughly 45 minutes we headed to The Limes in Maldon where Sammi and her bridesmaids were getting ready.
After getting all the shots we needed we headed back to the venue. It wasn’t known until the day whether the ceremony was going to be held outside amongst the vineyards, or within the Railway Barn, due to the uncertain weather forecast. However it was eventually decided that the ceremony would take place indoors, and the barn proved to be a great setting and the right call as the rain really came down as the ceremony began.
Fortunately enough though the rain dispersed for long enough for the group photos to be taken outside, and we were really happy to film the newlyweds out in the sunshine. The rain quickly returned but that didn’t stop everyone having fun. Despite Sammi being in her wedding dress, she made the most of the rain and danced around in it, it was amazing to film, as a bit of rain wasn’t going to get in the way of spoiling the special day.
Ben and I carried on filming with the speeches and then some dancing action. The evening was awesome, there was a really good vibe about the place and everyone was having a great time. After approximately 12 hours of filming, once we were very happy with all the footage captured, Ben and I headed home.
If you’re considering having a wedding highlight film then please feel free to get in touch, and we’ll happily discuss what we can offer for you. When we provide you with the highlight film, we also send over files covering the full length of speeches, as we know how great these can be to look back at.
A few weeks ago, we filmed at the Village Green Festival. This is a one day Arts & Music Festival plus comedy and cookery produced by Metal Southend, located in Chalkwell Park, Southend-on-Sea, Essex. It was a fantastic day filled with over 16,500 visitors with headliners Nothing But Thieves & Kate Nash performing to an enthusiastic crowd of all ages. Other acts included Airways, Youth Club, Fyresky, Bait, Cool Things, Suspects, The Velveteens, Courts and Holloway Road to name a few!
A family friendly festival, there’s something to please everyone, from the calibre of acts and the diversity of performances, to the activities and workshops available, all set within a beautiful park overlooking the River Thames!
We were more than happy to film the event, and supply a Promo Video for Village Green to use in the future, this local Southend Festival is making a name for itself and we’re sure that the crowds will continue to grow bigger year after year at this fantastic festival.
Here’s the review left from Sadie at Metal Culture who organised the event:
‘Shot and edited a fantastic film of Village Green 2017 – which Metal will be very proud to share in future. Thanks so much!’
We had an amazing day filming Mr and Mrs Cleminson’s Wedding. A beautiful sunny day in Ongar, Essex. Here’s the Highlight Video below! They also opted to have Video Messages recorded, which we delivered in a separate video.
The reception was held on the couple’s farm which was such a picturesque location and the ceremony was held at the Parish Church of St Germain Bobbingworth, just a 5 minute drive from the reception.
The Church was lovely and welcoming in an ideal setting in the middle of the Ongar Countryside. We were slightly restricted with where we could stand to film during the ceremony, however we still managed to get some great shots, and we have to respect the Minister’s wishes! The photographers were brilliant, we spoke earlier in the day about helping each other out by trying our best to stay out of each other’s shots and they really followed through with their consideration. Filming a ceremony can be a bit tricky if the Photographer’s are jumping in and out of your shots, but these guys were very respectful.
Every part of the day ran smoothly. Myself and talented freelancer Ben, left for the road at 07.30, arriving at Tim and Chanelle’s house an hour later. We wrapped up filming around 21:30, so it was a long day, but we loved every minute of it!
Here’s the review left for us on our Facebook Page by Tim, the groom:
‘We wouldn’t hesitate in recommending MTMTEFilm! Extremely professional, creative and friendly and willing to go the extra mile to catch every magic moment at our wedding. I have no ideas how MTMTEFIlm managed to condense a whole day into a short film and capture everything but they did!’
Feel free to contact us to discuss the filming of your wedding.
Southend – on – Sea punk band the 7786 performed at the Railway Pub for their latest music video. Around the Edge Productions, in association with Project 49 filmed the music video and wanted behind the scenes footage of what this production crew get up to. In April 2017, it was a pleasure attending the Music Video shoot for local ‘Dirty Pop’, Southend – on – Sea band the Arcaves. MTMTEFILM filmed a Behind The Scenes shoot for the Arcaves latest Single ‘Familiar Stranger’. Filming took place at local surroundings including Two Tree Island and St Mark’s Anglican Church of England. The full music video can be found here.

Filming took place a couple of weeks ago in London, stay tuned it’s coming soon! ‘Don’t you Love the Rain’ promises to be another hit on an album, which cannot come soon enough.
Hello! So it’s our first blog post here on MTMTEFILM and we thought we would write about our latest piece of work; Mr and Mrs Milliken’s Wedding, here’s a quick reflection of the day.
It was our first Wedding of the year and what a delightful couple they proved to be. Greg and one of our talented freelancer’s Rob produced for them a ‘Highlight Video’ (A video covering all the best bits of the day from getting ready early in the morning till the dance action in the evening). We arrived ready to film at 09:00 and packed away our gear at 21:00 so a 12 hour day but when we love our job it’s no bother at all! The Ceremony was held at Howlands Baptist Church and the reception at Chesfield Downs Golf Course in Stevenage on what proved to be a lovely spring day.
There was a slight hiccup in the morning when the bride to be Barbara, had thought that the Check Out time at the Vista Tower Hotel, where her and her bridesmaids were getting ready, was at 12:00pm, when in fact it was 10am. We were all kicked out as new guests were arriving and the room had to be cleaned. With no other rooms available, there was no option other than to find another hotel to finish off getting ready in. Luckily there was another hotel near by and the day ran smoothly from then on.
At one point when Barbara threw her bouquet in the air, she tripped and fell over but with credit to her she soon laughed it off and even suggested adding it to the video. The whole occasion proved to be a fun day and we thoroughly enjoyed editing all the clips together. You can watch this memorable moment and other funny pieces from the day at the end of the video. We hope you enjoy watching.
Here’s the Review left from the Groom James:
‘I can honestly say MTMTEFilm were a credit on our wedding day with their filming with capturing every single special moment. I would hugely recommend to anyone looking for filming any event especially the big day. Cannot Thank you enough ! ‘
